MY HOSPITALITY JOURNEY
Angela  is a NY native and seasoned veteran of the hospitality industry with a background built on culinary, sales and marketing leadership positions with trend setting companies that include:Angela is a proud graduate from the prestigious School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Culinary Arts. She worked as a chef for many years before going back to school to get her masters degree in Marketing from St. John’s University in New York. Post-graduation, she began working in the entertainment industry and combined her love of the restaurant business and sports marketing to blaze a trail that few people have done. She brings a sharp and strong focus on crafting and marketing hospitality experiences for sporting fans and restaurant guests alike.

WHY BRANDING BY AMT STARTED 
Angela founded Branding by AMT in 2018 as a way of sharing her knowledge and expertise with organizations interested in having a brand ambassador on their team to elevate the guest experience.  She acts as a broker for various hospitality advisors to connect organizations with the right people in foodservice. The consortium of advisors offer objective analysis, operational feedback, and solutions concerning the strengths and weaknesses of your entire foodservice business with specific emphasis on:
  • branding and integrated marketing strategy development,
  • concept development,
  • operational assessment and strategy development,

WHAT WE'VE DONE
In her current role as VP of Strategic Partnerships at Aramark, she is fully committed to working for a world class organization full-time. Branding by AMT will continue to be a liaison between firms that need assistance and executives that can provide a multitude of hospitality services. In Angela's previous role as VP of Marketing and Business Development for Legends, she was responsible for all branding and promotional content development for over 70 arenas, stadiums, amphitheaters and attraction business’ worldwide. Always mindful of the best interest of the clients, she has a reputation for bringing an innovative approach to the business while keeping the client goals and expectations of the guests at the forefront of every recommendation. Career highlights include:
  • the opening of several hotels, restaurants, and sports facilities from 1996 to the present
  • leading the marketing and communication efforts during the opening of Barclays Center in Brooklyn, 
  • being the brand strategist for 34 Live Nation amphitheaters upon contract award to Legends Hospitality in 2015, 
  • co-authoring the Food and Beverage Charter at the core of the culinary program at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento in 2016, 
  • developing the marketing strategy and assisting with the programming of Los Angeles’ newest urban food hall (The Fields LA) adjacent to Banc of California Stadium, and 
  • being part of the team that closed such deals as the Tennessee Titans concessionaire contract and the global retail management partnership with UFC.

BRANDING BY AMT'S ANGELA TASSIE - ON A PERSONAL LEVEL
Based 30 minutes from NYC, she uses her hometown of Manhattan as a source of inspiration to be able to bring a global perspective to all projects. She is a full-time Vice President, entrepreneur, wife and mother of two amazing children. She travels globally as often as possible to gain insight and still acts as a “chef” to her family and friends whenever possible. She truly embodies the word hospitality and incorporates that into every aspect of her business and personal life.
